Hello, my name is Alexandra and I love spending time with dogs! I’ve been in the dog world for more than 16 years - I’ve done shows, breeding, training, and now I enjoy dog sitting.
I’ve spent most of my time with terriers and retrievers, but I want to experience as many breeds as possible.
My current dog is a six-year-old standard poodle I adopted when she was three. Before that, she lived with about twenty-five other dogs, so she’s used to sharing space and getting along with dogs of all ages and personalities.
Guest dogs usually adapt quickly and feel at home here. I make sure they not only have fun but also get enough rest and quiet time during the day, which is important in a new environment. I always follow the owners’ instructions and schedules, and care for their dogs as if they were my own. I also send regular photo updates, so you’ll always know how your dog is doing.
Before confirming a booking, I always arrange a meet and greet at our place. I have a five-year-old daughter, so for her safety I don’t usually accept large breeds under 1.5 years old. I also require that dogs show no aggression toward people or other animals, including cats.
I usually host dogs from one family at a time, though occasionally there may be some overlap in bookings.
