I had the possibility to work with her during our internship at a cat/dog shelter. She is caring and loving for animals. She even during night shifts set a mattress on the floor to lay down with the dogs.

About me

Less than 1 year of experience

Vet. Doctor from Colombia living in TheNetherlands

We are from Colombia and Germany, we just established in Utrecht. We love animals, Maria is a Veterinary Doctor and Animal Scientist and candidate for a MSc in Food Quality Management at Wageningen University. We have a dog and a cat who love to interact with other dogs and cats. Maria has ethology skills, therefore we can teach your cat/dog how to learn different commands.
Our motivation to be pet sitters is that recently we needed someone to take care of our dog, Uala and we weren't able to find anyone nearby, so here we are trying to help others when they need their pets being taken care of, and on top of that Maria is a veterinary doctor. Back in Colombia, Maria had the opportunity to be a volunteer at a shelter for dogs and cats which allowed her to learn how to manage a huge volume of dogs and cats. Due to the latter we would be able to recieve 2 dogs at a time and cats we rather baby sit them at their home in order to avoid stress for them. As for our cat, she is a dog-friendly, whenever there isn't a dog that wants to play catch me if you can with her. We would love to host your dog as part of our family and take care of your cat at his/her home.
