I have had a labrador for the past 7 years. Taking care of her has been a part of my daily life for years. I moved to Rotterdam this year for university and have been missing the time I got to spend with her and interacting with any dog in general. This is why i want to be a dog sitter or walker. I allways loved playing catch and going on walks with my dog but I also love the more chill time we would spend cuddling on the couch and watching tv. I am also aware that some dogs might take a while to warm up to new people and can prefer to keep their distance. I have dog sitted for my friends before who had dogs that were nor as quick to warm up to me. That’s why i know to give space to dogs that might prefer to not get very close to new people. Overall, I love just spending time with dogs and listening to them for how they want to be treated and what they want to do.
