Hello!

My name is Xige, and I’m an international student from China, currently pursuing my master’s degree at Leiden University. I have always been passionate about animals. Back in China, I have a Mongolian Mastiff—a breed that holds special significance for me as I am of Mongolian ethnicity. My dog is three years old, a giant breed, which means I have three years of hands-on experience in dog care.

Coming from a nomadic background, I grew up helping my parents take care of sheep, which taught me how to care for animals and understand their unique needs. I wholeheartedly love them and believe that every animal is one of a kind, deserving of personalized attention.

Whether it’s playing fetch, teaching them basic commands like “sit,” or taking them for a walk, my goal is always to communicate and bond with them in the best way possible—making sure they get enough exercise, have fun, and feel comfortable and happy while we’re together.
