I have never owned a dog personally but I have lived with friends/family who owned dogs and in many cases I became the primary carer of the dog. In one case I took care of my friend's miniature labrador and did the basics in training and socialisation (leash etiquette, sit/stay commands, exposure to children/dogs/unfamiliar environments etc). My experience includes caring for an American bully, Jack Russel, Labrador cross, Lurcher/Malinois cross. I am passionate about providing the care, enthusiasm and understanding which dogs need in their day to day lives. I am an active person, I like to walk, run, cycle and swim.
