Hi there! My name is Genevieve and I’ve been lucky enough to spend over 12 years caring for animals of all shapes and sizes. Currently, I have two dogs of my own—a sweet Portuguese Podenco mix named Jack and our American Staffordshire Terrier, Tilly, who came into our lives through fostering at DOA (Dierenopvang Amsterdam). She had a rough start in life, and with her medical issues and reactive behavior, I’ve learned a lot about caring for dogs that need a little extra patience and love. Jack, on the other hand, is a bundle of energy—super vocal, excited about life, and full of affection for everyone he meets. While they won’t be joining me during any of my pet sits or walks (my partner will be with them), they’ve taught me so much about the different needs dogs can have.

I grew up surrounded by animals—four cats and three dogs, all rescues—and my experience extends from tiny chihuahuas to big boerboels (a South African mastiff breed, known for their strength and loyalty). And I know all too well the struggle in finding a reliable and SAFE sitter for your pets!

Aside from my personal experience, I’ve also done house and pet sitting for friends and family, looking after everything from energetic beagles to Labradoodles and cats.
