We are a small family of 4 (my partner, and myself and our two Shih Tzus). My Shih Tzus, Oreo, and Cookie are the most loved dogs in the neighborhood. We live in Amsterdam in an extremely pet friendly apartment, and our neighborhood comprises multiple dog parks, including Flevopark, where dogs enjoy the serenity along with an active workout based on their age and need. Our neighborhood has many dog breeds, and Oreo and Cookie enjoy multiple play dates during their walks. Our neighborhood is quiet and serene, and there are not too many cars that can stress the dogs even during festivities. Oreo and Cookie are extremely friendly and welcoming to other dogs, and they love the company of other dogs who often come for sitting and boarding, making sure their stay is fun, relaxing, and enjoyable. Cookie is blind so we are accustomed to handling dogs with special needs. With that comes a lot of flexibility, and we are comfortable with the schedules and routines that different dogs might have. We have flexible work schedules, and we plan our office trips in a way to ensure that one of us is home always.

Back in our country, we used to host dogs of our neighbors, which gave Oreo and Cookie the opportunity to socialize and become confident among other dogs. We hosted multiple breeds starting from Shih Tzus, Maltese, Crocker Spaniel, Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers to German Sheperds.
