Hello :) My name is Chiara, I'm a 22 year-old italian student currently enrolled at the University of Amsterdam. I have decided to become a dogsitter in the Netherlands mostly because, as an international student living abroad, I really miss my dogs and animals from my home.

I have grown up with animals my entire life, starting out with dogs, cats, turtles, fish, hamsters, and birds. My family and I also took an interest in farm animals such as goats and chickens. Living with animals throughout my life allowed me to establish a deep and strong connection with them based on affection and understanding.
My experience as a dogsitter goes from having my own pets to caring for those from relatives and friends and also as a volunteer.

My personal experiences with dogs come from having lived with German shepherds, labradors, a beagle, a jack russel, a Shih Tzu, french bulldogs and border collies.
Due to my strengths, I prefer walking and caring for small-medium dogs (max 25kg). However, I'm open to meeting stronger or bigger dogs.

To sum up, I love making new pet buddies and want to ensure they are as happy as possible. Therefore, I'm very looking forward to taking care of your animal friends!
