My name is Emily, I am a British 28-year-old living in Amsterdam.

I've always LOVED dogs. My mum (finally) let me get a dog when I was 7 (Molly, a cocker spaniel) and I have always been surrounded by and looked after dogs ever since.

Doggy experience:
- Grown up with dogs.
- 6 years ago my mum got a Labrador (Ralphie), who I've regularly hosted for weeks at a time.
- I regularly look after friends' dogs (from Daschunds to Golden Retrievers).
- I am very experienced in looking after dogs of varying sizes and ages (puppy to adult).

I know how special dogs are to their owners and how much JOY they bring to their lives (albeit likely being a pain at times too 😅). I will spend time getting to know the unique needs of your dog and I promise to care for your baby as if it were my own!

A bit more about me:
- I live with my husband, and we're based a 5-minute walk from Vondel Park. I go walking there every day and it's perfect for dog walks.
- I have my own business, where I work from home and have full control over my diary which makes it ideal for looking after furry friends.
- We have a spacious apartment (around 140sqm) plus a fenced outdoor space. Note: we do have the infamous Amsterdam stairs so in case you wanted your dog to come to our house, they would need to be ok to be carried or comfortable going up 2 flights of stairs.
