Aki is a rescue dog from Turkey. He joined our family when he was six months old. He was scared in the beginning but has really flourished since then!
He is a happy-go-lucky dog, active and energetic outside but calm and relaxed at home. He is super sweet with children, cats, and other dogs. However, he can get a bit overenthusiastic with other dogs. Since he’s only 1 year old, he’s still learning some boundaries.
Sometimes, he can be a little scared of new people, but this usually passes within a minute or so. He isn’t neutered because of his sensitive nature, as neutering can sometimes make dogs more anxious. We made this decision with his well-being in mind.
Overall, he is such a lovely dog! He has never growled or shown aggression and is very sweet and sensitive. He can stay home alone in his bench without any issues.
