I’ve lived with dogs since birth, and have learned a lot about their behaviors and ways of understanding us. When I was 12 my parents got a puppy, and I did a lot of training with her for the 9 years she was here with us. I’ve also worked in barns with horses and dogs, where being able to communicate with the dogs was an important part, being in open places with children and horses. And for the last couple of years I’ve been helping one of my good friends with her dog sitting in the summers. She takes a lot of dogs to watch, and we will be with multiple people grouping the dogs to people. We have all kinds of fun with the dogs there and training. This all has made me learn a lot about dogs.
