Over mij
Minder dan 1 jaar ervaring
attentive, reliable, and detail-oriented.
My name is Jiahe Li, but you can also call me Aristotle. I was born in China, lived in Portugal for five years, and am now a Portuguese citizen. Currently, I reside in the Netherlands, where I spent the past year studying for a Bachelor's degree in Religious Studies at the University of Groningen. However, I decided to step back from that academic path to follow my true passion: photography. I am currently applying for undergraduate photography programs in Rotterdam and The Hague.
Since I am now in a gap year, I have plenty of free time. I live on Breeweg in Rotterdam. I have always had a strong fondness for dogs like dachshunds, West Highland White Terriers, and Shiba Inus, as well as cats such as Abyssinians, cow cats, orange cats, and tabby cats. However, because I travel often, I’ve never had a pet of my own, as I wouldn’t want to leave them home alone.
My love for cats led me to write a paper titled Cats' Unique Status in Islamic Countries while I was studying Islam, which received high praise. I even turned this paper into a YouTube video afterward. I also enjoy looking after my friends’ and neighbors’ pets, and I once took part in a street animal rescue.
While living in Groningen, I encountered two people urgently trying to help an injured cat they had found on the street. The cat had a nail stuck in its back leg and no collar, so they were searching for its owner. I stopped to check on the situation and stayed with them while they called an animal ambulance. I was impressed by the rescue team's procedures, which left a lasting impact on me.
Since moving to Rotterdam, I’ve helped my neighbor take care of her chubby calico cat. She didn’t want her cat to be lonely while she was away, so my girlfriend and I spent time with the cat, feeding her, giving her treats, and playing with her. I took a lot of photos to keep her owner updated on her status, and now my phone is filled with pictures of this adorable cat!
