"Hello there! 🐾 My name is Spela, I'm a health communication researcher at the University of Amsterdam and a passionate dog lover with a commitment to ensuring your furry friend's happiness and well-being.

Six years ago, I moved to this beautiful city, leaving our beloved family dog under the care of my parents. Even now, I cherish the memories of our daily walks, which have fuelled my love for dogs. It's this deep connection and longing for pet companionship that brings me here today.

In Amsterdam, I've had the privilege of regularly walking and caring for dogs from all walks of life, and you can witness some heartwarming moments in my gallery. I've taken care of many different breeds from adorable Shih Tzu's to energetic Boxers, from playful puppies to gentle giants, and everything in between. Interacting with these wonderful four-legged companions fills my heart with joy, and I'm excited to extend that love to your precious pup. 🐶💖

This February, both my vizsla and my partner's doberman passed away leaving us heartbroken :( So spending time with your pups also helps me fill the void that they left in my heart.

What I can offer
With me, you're not just getting a dedicated dog enthusiast; you're welcoming someone who understands the unique needs and quirks of our furry friends. It's a win-win situation; your dog gets the care and attention they deserve, and I get the joy of brightening my day in the process. 🌟

You can also expect prompt updates with adorable photos. :) My standard walk is usually one hour (not 30 mins as is the default here), but I'm flexible and will tailor the experience to your dog's specific needs and preferences.
Sometimes my boyfriend also joins for a walk, especially when your pup needs some extra attention.

We live next to Oosterpark, overlooking the park and are very familiar with the neighbourhood.
Please note that due to my landlord's preferences, I'm currently only able to offer day care services at your home, but rest assured, your dog's comfort and safety remain my top priority.

In terms of availability, my calendar should be updated, but it's always best if you reach out to me. As a researcher with a flexible and dynamic schedule, I can accommodate dog walking at various times throughout the day, depending on the demands of my current projects. Your convenience and your dog's well-being are my top priorities, so please don't hesitate to contact me, and we can work together to find the ideal time that suits both you and your furry friend.
