My name is Sophie Duncan, I work as an environmental consultant and live with my friend, Blanca, who is writing her Master's thesis in Environmental Resource Management. We have always had a passion for animals and have had dogs our entire lives. At present, I have two dogs back home with my parents (in Thailand), a feisty West-highland Terrier named Monty and a beautiful adopted street dog named Suki. Living in Amsterdam and far away from my dogs has made me realise how much I cherish and miss having them around and underfoot.

We both have a lot of experience walking, bathing and feeding dogs (including medications) and are very flexible and open to any specific requirements you as an owner would have. We are responsible pet owners who would never put a dog in harm's way. We live in a 75-square-meter 2-bedroom apartment with a large living room and balcony in NDSM that is within walking/ferrying distance of 3 parks (one is off-leash). One of us can always stay at home during the week and weekends, and I have a pet-friendly office where dogs are very welcome. We love going for walks and being outside and can walk them at least 3 times a day.

Now that we've settled in Amsterdam, we've decided that we need an animal presence in our lives and would love the chance to 'channel' some of our love and experience into looking after your dog!
