I'm Mónica. A portuguese living in Almere. I had pets my whole life. Cats, dogs, hamsters, birds, you name it.
Since a young age I was fascinated by animals. I grew up in a house with a lot of green property surrounding it. So our house was always full with sweet, cute creatures that I could observe, pet and take care of. Naturally I grew an adoration specially for cats and dogs.
In my job I work per project. So that means that sometimes I have free weeks with no work at all. I'm not fond of staying at home doing nothing. So keeping busy is very important to me. Petsitting is something that really makes me happy.
I have my own pets: a 9 year old cat, Pipoca, who loves to eat and to take naps in the sun, and a 6 year old labrador, Jack, who loves to go for walks and watch me at all times. Jack is my bodyguard. I can't imagine my life without them. Having them in my life makes it so much richer.
